Big difference is going to be pick ups or specifically the bridge pick up. The bridge is a Bill Lawrence pick up. Dime was a fan of Bill Lawrence's. If the CFH is mounted to a Dime specification (and I don't see any reason it shouldn't), the hotter pole in the humbucker is in the front position of the bridge pick up. Meaning that the hot pole is not closest to the bridge. I think it is what have his tone that fat kinda deal.
