Just one word - practice!! I have been learning for 5 months now, and I don't have the full stretch on B and F yet. I'm playing half chords whilst trying to get my fingers used to the stretch. The string muting and buzzing is down to finger positioning, so make sure your fingers are straight down on the strings and you're nail isn't touching the next string. Again the more I practice, the better it gets and the less I have to think about it. Not perfect yet by any means, but I'm getting there slowly! I'm no expert, but hope that helps! :)

welcome to GT..
a commond problem with beginners is they tend to roll the guitar body so the can see where they put thier fingers. This puts more bend in your wrist and pulls your fingers at an angle. The problem becomes worse when the guitar body is thicker. You can also raise the neck higher to can the angle.
I try to exercise my fingers and wrist to expand stretch and warm them up. I wedge my right wrist between my left hand finger and hold for 30 seconds.
Try doing spider push-ups. Put finger together push in and out several times.
You can spread them as far as possible at the same time.
Last, let your arms drop to your side. let them relax until until they can shake like rags. Skake vigoursly. Then let your fingers do the walking.
I hope this works for some..
Y'all have a great day and keep on pickin'

I am a little confused by this. Can you be more clear? What is the problem you are having?

The buzzing is coming from your fingers either being on top of or to close to the fret. You have to be as close to the fret as possible but it is imperative to not put your finger on it. The string muting is probably coming from the above explanation, rolling the body of the guitar to see where you are putting your fingers. When fingering a chord or even a single note you have to dive your fingers straight in to the string making rigid bends at each digit of your fingers. some will say that big fingers are no excuse, I beg to differ, I have large hands and fingers and there are just some patterns I can not make in the conventional way. If that is an issue for you instead of using your index, middle and ring finger try using your middle, ring and pinky finger for tight chords.
God said to Abraham, “Kill me a son”
Abe says, “Man, you must be puttin’ me on”
God say, “No.” Abe say, “What?”
God say, “You can do what you want Abe, but
The next time you see me comin’ you better run”
Well Abe says, “Where do you want this killin’ done?”
God says, “Out on Highway 61”
