New songs

One new song in three weeks? Not really adding new songs very fast compared to what the claims were.

What were the claims?

If you click on "SONGS" and look at the paragraph just before the list of songs, you will see that the claim is "we are adding about 3 new songs per week". I am only seeing about one new song per 3 weeks. That is only one new song compared to the claim that about 9 new songs should have been put out in three weeks if you believed the claim.

Heh, there is a loophole there. The paragraph is dated and the phrase "So far" is used.

November 1, 2009 - Guitar Tricks is proud to announce... ...So far we have been releasing about 3 songs per week....

I think that would put the average is about 2.9 per week since that date. I guess it's becoming a bit of a stretch :)

I do believe GT would produce them faster if they could. It is only in their interest, after all. The site's been around long enough and continues with constant development in all areas and features, so it's not just a money grab.

I started with this site a year ago before they even had songs, and after having both for about 6 months, I cancelled my subscription with a site that only did songs. I personally found more value in having the lessons, the "in the style of" the quick "tips & tricks" and all that.

Anyway, I'm not on the GT payroll or anything. I feel your pain. 'Twould be nice to have all of it all at once. :)
