new to the site
Hi, my name is Lamanda from Dallas, Texas. I found this site from Twitter of another guitar site that I'm following. Anyways, Iam new to playing the guitar, but, I have always played the flute or the recorder since I was in the 3rd grade. I thought that it would be interesting to learn something new. Iam trying not to get too frustrated in learning the guitar, Iam currently using a book that I brought and Iam still learning where to place my fingers on the fretboard. Hopefully I can learn much more on this site.....Lamanda

Hi Lamanda..
Welcome to GT..
If you become a full access member you can diffinitely get your money's worth. Just being in the forum for free can be a help... Plenty of encouragement to help you get by your frustration. Most of us have been there.
Most of all, get through the finger pain.. and the fingering of the F chord.
LOL.. We've been there also.
Fundamental 1 & 2 can get you a good start and that alone, IMO is worth the membership fee..
Good Luck and keep on pickin'
