Hi! I'm new! R U ?

Another newb here... HI! I've been playing since I was about 8 years old (36 now)... took lots of private lessons, but none of it stuck 'cause I just wanted to play rock 'n roll. After 11 years off, I'm playing again and want to not only get back what time has taken from me, but be better than ever... so I landed here.

Hey to all, I've been playing for a month or so and loving every minute of it. What I like about the electric guitar is that I can plug in my headphones to the amp and not have to hear the wife and kids screaming "turn that noise down" or "quit playing that guitar" and they don't have to listen to me trying to be a rock star, ha! ha! Good luck to all.

Just got a guitar for Christmas, first one ever and no previous experience.
I am just about finished w/ GF1, and hearing all of the stories about how great this site is for those of you w/ years of prior experience makes me glad I found this site early on in my guitar training.

I joined a couple of days ago,and its already the best decision ive ever made. Fantastic tutors and overall amazingly fantastic site. So excited to finally learn how to play guitar!
