Okaydokay dooods! :D
Just thought I shoot you all a number to see if anyone could help me with looking for hardware?

I have: a US-122 MIDI Interface, a few crummy $50 mics which is basically the whole shabang (Except for all my little things that aren't important)

I'm looking for something to improve the quality of my music so I'm checking out phantom mics and better interfaces. Is there anything that you think would be the the best choice for my recordings right now? Everything in my music I found myself by shooting in the dark so it be awesome if someone who knew what they are doing could give me a pointer. :)

You can check out my toooooones at: Myspace.com/stuartbisbee

happy new years!!
Eat, sleep, and play guitar! :D

As far as interfaces go, I highly recommend the following units as they are all inexpensive and do a great job;

As for mics, you want to try and get a decent large diaphragm condensor mic. That will give you the ability to record just about anything honestly, with the exception of electric guitar. For that, the tried and true Shure SM57 is the ticket. Brands I would seek out are Audio Technica, Samson, and MXL. Those brands all make great mics that are pretty inexpensive.

Best of luck and keep the questions coming. Let me know that this answers your question.
