It is never to late to start anything (perhaps an olympic swimming career, but who knows.) None the less, I think it is a great thing that you are starting at this stage and I think you will find it to be a very fulfilling venture. It warms my heart to see people in there 60' and 70's wanting to take on new ventures as it shows you still love to learn, and your mind and body will thank you for it honestly. Best of luck and never assume it to late to start, as music is a life time gift.
