Can anybody tell me what notation software guitar tricks uses to post the notation and tab for each lesson?

All of the site's transcriptions are done by a few transcribers whom do a great job getting all the lessons notated in music and tab. As far as what program they use to do so, I am not sure. I will ask and let you know ASAP.

Don't know what they use but you might like o look at Power Tab Editor.

It looks good and is easy to use and, best of all, it's FREE!!!!!!!.

It is essentially a MIDI sequencer with a guitar-friendly interface. It also has a variety of input & output options. PowerTab is similar with fewer options, but free.

I just got confirmation from the transcribers that that is the software. You can download a free trial version from their website, and see how you like it. Best of luck and keep us posted if this works for you.
