Metronome accent

I notice that the metronome on the site is not the same as the one shown in the lessons on practicing scales (Guitar Fundamentals 2). Is there a way to remove the accent for an even sounding beat? My metronome has both accent and beat set to "Click" but the accented click is twice as loud as the beat clicks.
