I'm sure glad someone told me about this site. I'm 64 and have been trying to teach myself guitar for 2 months and it's frustrating but I'm further ahead in 1 day from the beginner lessons than I've been. Now, I need a guitar with low action and I've been looking at the Michael Kelly Visionary with the variable set neck. Does anyone have any feedback on this? Thanks, Don

I have always had great experiences with Michael Kelly guitars. I don't own one myself but I use to work in a music store that sold them and they never came back with a ton of problems. They are good quality instruments that are extremely affordable. As far as that particular model, I see that it is quite popular and dubbed the ultimate "first guitar." I would say this is worth pursuing and while I have not had any direct experience with that particular guitar, I feel it would be worth getting as those are nice instruments. I've never seen a guitar like this, and am quite curious how it plays. Keep us posted on how it works for you.

I have only played 1 Michael Kelly guitar and it was pretty great. It was a used Jazz box that I saw at Guitar Center for about $250. The action was great!
