Hey guys, just wanted to say I have been doing some of the on-line lessons and I'm having a ball doing it. I've been taking lessons for awhile but have never tried some of the things in the lesson plans. Kinda wonder sometimes what I've been learning. I know it's been a lot but sometimes just have a hard time putting it in perspective I guess.

Anyway! This is the greatest site I've ever found and I'm enjoying every bit of it. Definately getting my monies worth. See yall around.

Hi Bluestoad,

These kind of comments make it all worthwhile!

I have noticed that the big "AAHHH, that's why I learned that!" comes at the tail end of a new learning plan, when it all starts to fit together.

To quote 'Hannibal' Smith:

"I love it when a plan comes together!" :D

...and it is sooo cool when things start to make sense and I've found GT to be quite the deal.

Simply Superb! Sounds like you are getting off to a great start! Keep up the good work and remember you have to fall in love with the process; it is through that that the journey will truly take shape.

Here is a video explaining the concept of meaningful work, which I feel helps relate to the difficulties of playing a new instrument:
