Not to belittle her guitar playing ability. But at a time when Britney Spears can be more successful than Bonnie Raitt, it is clear that you don't need talent as much as looks. This one seems to have both.

I know a lot of people hate to hear someone cover another's song but I, for one, would like to hear some of Joan Jetts music done by this one.

She really has some tasty playing. I notice that in some of her more bluesy leads that she doesn't always go for the kill note right away in a bend but squeezes the string with a slight vibrato before slowly bending the the note. Very tasty and restrained.

Love the playing.

Anyone that Santana endorses is good with me. Well, that and the fact that girl has some real talent!

I winced at the Bonnie Raitt vs. Bratney Spears thing though. Bonnie has raw talent and skills, as well being an amazing musician.

Britney has raw silicone, and talented publicists... or did I mix that up?

I ran into the same problem at youtube..
I went right to the Orianthi video the first time.. I try it..
anyway. when you get thier put ORIANTHI in the seach box.. Then look for the Micheaql jackson guitarist video..

I believe I'm gonna add her disk to my collection. :cool:

I don't know about Joan Jet but I would dearly love to hear her do some Amanda Marshall stuff. Great voice and chops to spare.

I hate being a sexist but I never knew girls could play that good. I mean I have never, ever heard a chic play like that. Oh yea, plus she is hot!

Goodness, well she's no Emmylou Harris or Sheryl Crow, but at 24 she sounds ok, and her look is striking.
