Myself and a friend of mine bought a fender strat neck and chiselled and bolted it on to another Body
He did the electrics and we both set up the intonation to an E5 Power chord using the relevant strings ( 3 at the moment)
Were using a slide and it sounds and looks wicked
I'm thinking of getting Full access again Just so you can see it

Setting the intonation to the E5 power chord? not sure what that is.

Setting the intoation (as i know it) involves ensuring your in tune on the open string and the same string at the 12th fret. You do this by adjusting your saddles.

Yes you adjust the saddles - tightening or Slackening
Such that the Needle on the tuner brings on a green light and the needle on the tuner is in the miiddle position
You have to constantly re-tune the string after each adjustment of Saddles
