Chords Up and Down the neck??

Can anyone please tell me (excluding barre chords) how to play chords up and down the neck. I have figured a few out, but I need the rules and theory so I can let ripp!!

I think you will want to have a look at the Triad tutorials.
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.
