How does the man Do it?

With the name like Dimebag Darrel you know that he has alot of energy, not only from his own human body but from another unmentioned source. But that asside how does he get thos amazing sqeals from his guitar? Is it harmonics and alot of wah and whammy? or what?

In an interview, he said he recorded sometimes as much as 8 guitars to get those squeals (made either with whammy and/or artificial harmonics) so he has a hard time playing them live.

How EXACTLY do you perform a natural harmonic
on my guitar i gently lay my finger on the the G sring (hehe) above the 4th fret and it just doesnt sound like anything what so ever.

they are easier to get at the 12th, 7th fret, sometimes 5th. Th other ones requires a strong picking hand and lots of distortion. Try those one, and when you get the hang of it, go for this type of high squeal at the 4th, and even the 3d fret.
