SQUEEZERS OFFICIAL PROFILE

Positive thinking is a core element of the Squeezers sound. The Taguig City Philippines-based quartet is at its prime with Byron Ricamara on vocals and guitar, Judith Abad on bass, Jeremy John Ricamara on drums and Clifford Jongko on guitar. The band’s music can be best described as “fun rock.” The positivity is present even in its most poignant moments—the band’s carrier single “Nagbabalik” being a case in point—and is most felt in the album and show-ender “Field Trip,” a song about, well, grade school field trips.

Since the release of their debut album, the band has made numerous TV, radio and mall performances in addition to bar gigs in and around Metro Manila. They have been awarded the 2009 Best New Alternative Pop Band award in the 11th Global Excellence Awards. They have also recently shot a promotional video for the song “Field Trip” which will soon make its appearance on local music channels. When not performing and promoting the band is writing and developing material for a follow-up release. Some of the new songs are now being performed during their performances, so make sure to catch them whenever you can.

Squeezers is promoting its new single, “Helmet,” and is currently gaining airplay on major pop radio stations. The band’s debut album, Highway Eskinita, includes ten songs and features the singles “Nagbabalik” and “Field Trip,” released under Gusi Records and distributed by D’Concorde Recording Corp, available in all Odyssey and SM Record Bars branches nationwide.
