My internet name is Compart1.. for Computer Art..I live in Central NC..
As for guitar, I've been a beginner forever.
My gear is:
Fender Tele "Mexican production"
Alverez Acoustic/Electric
Roland DAC-12XD
I like all genre of guitar music.
So far I have enjoyed this guitar site more then any I've loolked at..

You mentioned that there are a few members from NC here. Is there a forum or data base here that has a list of where everyone is from.
I'm another older member. Actually in the Seniors catagory.
I forgot to put in my list of gear that I have a Line 6 Pocket Pod.

The little woman of the house was just viewing cabins to stay at up your way.. She wants to do the Mayberry spots in Mt Airy. I've been atop Pilot Mountain 3 times.. Great area... Any fall colors

Nice! I am a big fan of Asheville and it's thriving art and music scene. There is a band from NC that I recently got into called THE AVETT BROS. which I assume you have heard of? If not, seek them out as I am sure they are playing in your back yard.

What has been your favorite lesson so far?
