How helpful is this site for intermediate guitarists?

I'd be interested in what your experience has been. I don't need help with chord shapes or basic technique. I need help to do interesting tricky stuff to accompany songs. I've looked for a teacher and haven't found anyone interested (I've found some guys who will answer my questions for 50 dollars an hour, but...).
