need more than lessens

Hi, my name is Dan. I am a 70 year old lefty and would like any suggestions on
getting my fingers moving faster. I tried guitar just to entertain myself.

Practice, of course. :) If you have a metronome, set it at a comfortable pace and gradually increase it over the course of sessions. I have had the advice that it's better to work on speed in several 10 minute sessions per day rather than one long session.

Don't get too locked into a single progression of notes or scales. Try to mix it up, but practice one sequence per 10 minute session... So I've been told. :)
