I mean I have trouble with a guy shredding like hell for 5 minutes. Malmsteen as that tendencie and it does get on my never sometimes.
Blues, for me, should not be about shredding. It's more about emotions. When I can feel the pain or feeling of someone transposed into a solo, that's what I like.
The problem is most people rate a guitarist by his ability to shred. It think it's a shame. I can shred but I have difficulties making a emotional solo. For me, less is more in a solo. Use less notes but make every note mean something.
