I picked up a bargain here, Michael Kelly - Patriot custom - Walnut:

-Solid Mahogany body (weighs an absolute ton)
-Bookmatched Maple Cap
-Rockfield Custom wound Humbuckers
-Coil tapped pots (double coil (buckers) to single wound (strat sound) using push/pull tone and volume knobs
-Legendary TonePros locking bridge
-Ebony fingerboard
-Deeep set mahogany neck (like under the neck pickup!) again which helps sustain, which happens to be endless on this -Custom neck to allow eaaaasy access right up to the 22nd fret
-Real Abalone inlays
-5 ply binding
-Grover Tuners

I'll let the pictures do the talking now :)

It was a new purchase yes!

I actually had the cash to splash on an Epiphone Std LP, however after playing an Epi, This MK patriot caught my eye and I had to have a play. I was totally blown away, not only by the quality of construction but the versatility of tone, this thing really is an all rounder!

My Gretsch has been sat lonely in the corner turning green with envy since I brought it home :P

This guitar cost me £300! I honestly felt like I was stealing from the shop! :D

If anyone get get a look at one i strongly advise!!

P.S. I had to see if there were any reviews, check this out:

There is a video in this review which demonstrates the guitars versatility:

I checked out some reviews at Harmony Central. It looks and reads like you have a great guitar. Congrats! :)

Well done! It looks gorgeous!

Please write up a proper review and post it in that section of the forum. If it sounds and plays as good as it looks, we'd like to know about it.
