We get occasional reports of this error, and we have tried really hard to fix it. The trouble is that it only effects some Firefox installs and not all. So we can't even test it. Our installs work fine.
For instance here's mine that works and doesn't reproduce the bug you have:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3
Our solution to this is going to have to be a full rewrite of the jam station. This will take some time.
Meanwhile, if you use internet explorer it will work fine for you.

Hi,
I just joined over the weekend and have tried to access Jam Station on 3 different computers, running Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP Professional.
All 3 are running the latest version of Firefox and the latest version of Internet Explorer 8 and Jam Station will not play in either browser on any of the 3 computers.
In I.E. 8 I have also tried using both native mode and compatability mode and neither one works.
Thanks,
Mike

I was just talking to the developers about this today.
We are having trouble fixing this because we don't have a computer that has a problem.
The jam station on my XP and Vista machines all work fine.
But since you have a problem on several machines on both browsers there has got to be something unique about your machines that would give us a clue.
Do they all use the same security program? What flash version do you have?
What happens when you load the jam station? Does the player show up but the style buttons are missing? Does it not show up at all? Show us a screen shot?
Please let us know whatever you can.
thanks and sorry about the hassle.

Jon,
Thanks for your help! I went back to get you a screen shot and realized the error was mine. I was clicking on the style (rock, country, metal) and saw the song loading in the player and then clicking play and nothing happened.
DOH
I finally realized I had to actually click the song in the player and THEN click the play icon.
After 2 days of trying it on every computer I could find I feel like a real dork.
LOL
Thanks again,
Mike

This is a known issue with some people who have XP and Firefox 3. We are trying to fix it but first we need to be able to replicate the problem.
Can you tell me specifically what your Firefox and Flash versions are?
It would really help.
Too funny NashvilleMike!

Reinstall adobe Flash plug in for Firefox, 10.0.32.18, go to Tools, options, main tab, manage plug ins..... scroll to see what version you have. I reinstalled mine and it began to work.
