I would suggest putting volume and wah pedals first. Distortion second. And phasers, flangers, chorus, and delays last. This is the configuration I prefer, but don't be afraid to switch things up. You'll get different sounds depending on what order you place them in. I use a Dunlop Juice box to power my board and it hasn't let me down yet...I have 7 pedals on it and the thing doesn't even get warm after 2 hours of gigging. Try it out.

don't forget a Tubescreamer and a Hendrix Fuzz Wah!
these are my pedals of choice, I but the screamer in front of the Wah and it sounds great!

Here's my setup (to date) but I change stuff around to find the best sound. This is what I like so far:
US Strat>>Ernie Ball Volume>>Vox v-847 Wah (with true bypass)>>Ibanez TS-9>>Fulltone Fulldrive II>>Cool Cat Chorus>>Dan Echo delay>>amp. I also have a switch that goes to my tuner. It's all powered by the Dunlop Juice Box.
