I had some previous back ground as well, but I made myself go thru all the fundamentals even so. There were some aha moments in there. There is also great info on triads, and chord building. If you have basic chords down and want to progress, this is the kind of stuff you need to know. Some lessons you'll know and just be waiting for the vid to end, but there's probably stuff in there worth waiting for.

Once those are done, select your course of study and begin. Sounds like you might want to go with Rock ;). That's what I did and after completing them I've moved on to the Blues lessons. I've never really been a blues man, but that's what keeps coming out of my fingers! Weird, but I stopped fighting it.

Maybe instead, after the rock courses (or what ever you choose), you could launch into the artist or genre studies.

Just my thoughts. Good luck!
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.
