Are you having fun? If so, then there is no reason to stop. Are you in a hurry to learn something or build your speed back up? Have you set yourself some goals? Maybe you've set your immediate goals up too high.

Last year at age 41, I picked the guitar up for the guitar up for the first time. I've asked myself why? Most likely you'll never play in a big arena, you'll likely never be famous, you've missed the boat on all the hotties swarming the back stage. So, why do it. All I can tell myself is, because it's fun and I have a kick asstime doing it.

Don't give up, just have fun with it. If something comes of it, great, if not, well nothing lost right?
