When i improvise i like to play over minor pentatonic adding here and there the minor 2nd (prygian mode),major 6th (dorian) and the major 7th (i dont think it fits in minor scale...)
do you have a favourite scale?

The Chromatic! You never have to add to it, and you can't play a wrong note.... sorry, I couldn't pass up the opportunity...

a mix between harmonic minor, pentatonic and a major 7th scale a whole note under the root of the minor(it's actually the same scale, but don't remeber what kinda mode it is)..
Maybe some notes off the scala too.. using the disharmony
as an effect so when u play right again later is sounds
even better.. = )
