Quarter of the season is over already.. geez...

My 4-0 Giants have had only 1 test so far (Dallas, always Dallas), and next week they play Oakland. How will they get ready for New Orleans by playing Tampa Bay, Kansas City and Oakland for 3 straight weeks?

Looks like a set up to me....

My Steelers:

If they could finish games like they start 'em then they would be hard to deal with. Maybe Mendenhall can help out.

My Panthers:

So far there best week was the bye!!! Its too bad there is nobody behind Delhomme to challenge him.

KFS...

Your Steelers' problem is that the heart of the defense lies with Polamalu. When he went down there was no one to take over his role. The turnover ratio of -5 is unlike any Steelers team I've ever seen.

Jags? Mediocrity with ever decreasing flashes of greatness. They are better on paper than on the field and everyone knows it.

There seems to be no doubt about that at this point. They can't tackle or cover anybody.
But what happened to the offense?

With both of my teams stuck in the pit of mediocrity I am now hoping to see a Superbowl of undefeated teams. That would be pretty cool even if the Panthers and Steelers don't even make the playoffs.

BTW, Troy P should be the highest paid defensive player in the league next season!!

Wow.. I said that 2 months ago... am I like Nostradamus or what ?
Pitts offensive problems is with their offensive line not giving an increasingly immobile Roth any time at all to throw the ball.

New Orleans, barring their slight stumble in Washington, is by far the most efficient team I've ever seen on both sides of the ball. The Colts on the other side always seem like they're coming from behind, and seem to start the game in the 2nd quarter. That might catch up with them.

There are a few teams in the mix but most of the league is full of pretenders this year.

.. and I agree about Troy P, there is always a single defensive player that is heads and shoulders above the rest. Troy is it for this generation of players.
