Hey all... I was wondering if there will ever be any lessons on bass guitar in the future. I'm going to tread lightly here... It seems that if you can play a guitar and understand the theory, a bass should be a no brainer. None the less.

There are persistent requests for this.

We have been so busy lately we haven't had time to really put this into plan.

But at some point in the near future we plan to add bass lessons.

One question I would put to you, since you are an IT guy: where do we put it? How do we separate it out? Just a link that says "bass" to a whole separate site? Do we add a flag to each lesson "bass" or "guitar?"

Hi Jon... If you want we can take this offline and talk about it. I'd be more than happy to assist. Shoot me an email.

Thanks I will.

I removed your email from the post.

You never want to put your email addr on a public forum (in the full access forum it would be ok) because spam bots scan the web looking for emails and adding them to their spam lists.

True and I know better, but... I once had a friend tell me a story. He worked with a guy, that guy got fired. The guy that got fired took his managers email address and signed him up for every type of spam he could find on the internet. That was back before they had spam blockers and what not. Can you imagine the crap that must have gotten on that guys computer? :D

Ok.. I know it's not funny... But, it kinda is.

If it changes anything, you can add me to the list of people who would be interested in some bass stuff.

My dad has a somewhat cheap and very old bass that I can have it I want.

I'd go for some bass lessons as well! I've been playing around with the one I have now and then, breaks up the monotony a bit :)

I could see the lessons just being located in another category.

Just put in a "Bass Guitar" category. Just my one cent worth. Would of been two cents but I'm cheap :)
It's better to regret something that you have done than something you haven't.

Jon,
business wise, I would put all in one site, more people can visit it. But not being a fan of bass guitar, mark the lessons clearly, it would be very disappointing to click on a lesson whose title was really interesting to find out it was not for my loved guitar.

Carmine

Regards,

Carmine,
That is exactly the thing I worry about. Thanks for validating the point.
