Hey, my name is Warren. Enjoying guitar tricks, learning a lot. So I have a question, I've read it's better to make a stomp box than to buy one. Is this true? If it is, what should I look for to make one or to buy one? Or is there a better way to get the stomp box sound? Being a newbie, I'm not sure, I definitely don't have a clue. If someone could help me with this, it would be much appreciated.

I always say leave it to a specialist and stomp boxes aren't expensive. I love to mess around with electronics so I might make one for fun but wouldn't expect it to be the best sounding available but it's possible. If you just want to get up and running, I would recommend buying a box.
