Just sayin' hi...

Hey folks. Joined up here a few weeks back and am diggin things so far. First post here.

I live in the Seattle, WA suburbs. Grew up in San Jose, CA. Been dabbling with guitar for 3 or 4 years and sing in a Irish Punk band. Trying to build up the guitar chops so I can sing and play more than the simplest of rhythms.

Love punk, rock, metal, Irish trad, Prince funk, etc. Play a Gibson Les Paul and a Tacoma Acoustic. Neither very well, but getting better! Working my way through the fundamentals now and though most is review, it's totally worth it as I'm getting good exercise and learning a few more fundamentals I missed along the way. :)

You have a fairly broad range of music there, I listen to a lot myself. I like the irish traditional stuff too, because alot of bluegrass has scotch irish roots. We're glad you like it here, and let us know if we can do anything to help you.
