I have been playing the acoustic for a couple of months am getting smoother with my chord transitions. I was hoping someone could suggest some good easy to play songs that are easily recognizable. Looking to make it through a song from beginning to end. Can anyone help?

Depending on your tastes, I'd suggest 'Sister Golden Hair' by America.

Challenge yourself, and give stairway to heaven a shot. This song will greatly help your choard transitions. That's how it helped me with mine.

How about American Pie? There is a fairly long progression to remember, but all open I think, and certainly recognizable. ...And you can go for like 10 minutes with it. :)
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.
