I do not listen to them, but I've seen other bands survive the departure (or death) of a member, (Van Halen, deep purple...)
Maybe if they continue playing, do not expect that they will play/write the same music... I hope that they will keep on playing for the fans like you that are worrying about their favorite group...
Good luck!!

I'm sure they will. As Chris Mood said, they could replace Borland with a "potted plant" and not miss a beat.

hey if i were borland i would have left that band. how challenging has a gig like that have to be for a guitarist? I don't think I'd enjoy my role in their lil' hip-hop fiasco. He was barely getting by on power chords, with all the sampling they throw into their mix.

Good luck to Borland, quite frankly I don't care for what happens to bizkit.

You might not think it, but it won't be an easy task to replace Wes. He might not shred all over the fretboard, or do amazing solos, but he definitely has a unique style of playing.(not to mention that he is responsable for most of the ideas for the music)

If Limp Bizkit will stay succesful all depends on the new guitarplayer I think, so, can't really say anything about that yet.

Oh, sorry. I guess it was TrebleDamage . . . but I was close!

You're not serious about that auditions thing, are you?

Well, Steve VAI played for whitesnake... It's not talent we miss in this world, it's money...

I like a little bizkit of disturbed here and there. Helps me get my mind of technical stuff. It's like a big whole jam session with people you don't know. You just play powerchords cause you don't know where they're going with this jam.

Will they survive? Good question. I just hope they don't leave the guitar out and rely only on samples. That would be sad for this style of music.

Is it for real, or is this Guitar Center's clever way of getting guitar players to come into their store and buy stuff?

No they won't. I heard they were trying to get Mike Doling to play and they wanted Wes to come back. There gone. I'm glad he left, he is too good of a guitar playing to be with Fred.

Without Wes they will become a pure hip hop band.
I heard that Fred Durst will record the guitar tracks for the next album....which is..hmmm strange

I heard that Fred was going to change his whole style of singing to more mellow, but I don't think I'll be interested in it.

Yeah, I heard he was playing guitar on it too, guess that answers the "will limp bizkit survive" question.

They're not worth listening to as it is, much less without an axman.
