I bought my first guitar at this site in the middle of february this year, and I must say, I am not satisfied at all. Even though the shipment costs nothing and it is delivered within 1-2 days, the products are just plain ****.

I bought a beginner set which included a guitar, an amp, 2 picks, a cord and a bag for the guitar.
The guitar doesn't seem like it wants to connect properly with any cords and I've changed the strings twice already. I've bought my 2nd cord recently, and it didn't work really. I had to turn it to find just the right place for it to connect with the guitar and if I moved an inch it would go away and make scratchy sounds instead.

Can't say much about the amp other than it has bad sound and it gives a lot of feedback.
The zip on the bag broke the first time I used it, and it's not like I was using it violently. Also there was a hole in the pocket when I got it.

I had bought this set for around 150USD and I thought I probably wouldn't get so much quality for this kind of money, so I didn't complain or send it back.

A few weeks after I bought the set, I bought a tuner. It seemed fine at first, but couldn't really pick up the tones if it wasn't connected with a cable, even though it said on the website that it could be used without a cable.
A few weeks ago I bought a headset for it, due to complaints from my parrents, but it didn't work very well and even if I got it to work, the sound was horrible.
Actually, the only things I bought from this site that actually works, and I am satisfied with, are the picks I bought. But I guess you can't really go wrong on that one...

Overall I feel like my experiences with these "quality" items have halted me in learning to play the guitar, and it has definetly taken away a lot of enjoyment for me, which is playing the guitar. So now I've finally had enough and I want to see if I can return all this stuff and get my money back!

So an advise for fellow danish guitarists: Be very careful if you're buying from this site...

And while I am at it, does anyone know a GOOD place for me to buy guitar products? Because I really don't know where else I would buy it :/

I have no images, since they do not sell this set anymore.

Hi. Sounds like an all round sucky experience! The problem with online buying is the difficulty in dealing with any issues. If there were a store around, you could take it back and get them to set it up and fix the jack.

If you cannot send it back for some reason, you could try pulling out the input jack. It's likely either behind the pickguard, which you will have to carefully take off, or in it's own little socket, which will be held with a couple of screws. Turn your amp off and insert your jack while you can see it. Is everything making contact where it should? Sometimes you can bend in the hot connection (middle part that touches the tip of the cord jack) with your finger so it makes better contact. Given that you have already tried another cord, this is the likely problem. At worst, buy a new jack for $5 and put it in.

So, your tuner... I think it's probably not going to pick up much sound from your electric. That no-cable ability is more for acoustic guitars. You can probably do it, but you'd have to hold the tuner really close to the strings. I would not consider this a deficiency with the tuner, myself. My favorite tuner I have right now is a chromatic clip on type. Clips on the headstock of any guitar and reads the vibration in the neck, not the sound (though it's capable of that).

For your head set, what did you get? You need to get a pretty decent pair of earphones. I had a set that was great for listening to music on the PC, but when I tried to use with an amp, they sounded like total crap. I bought a new pair with the lowest frequency range I could find. It was a Sony set, 5mhz, I think. Even came with a 1/4 inch adapter. I see them on sale almost all the time for aboot $25 CDN. ;-)

I hope your future musical endeavours go better for you. You might decide on the type of guitar you want and read some reviews. Here are a couple of sites I use to check reviews.

I've recently grown partial to the Fender Squires if that is any help for you. :) I got one to save on the wear and tear of daily practice on my Gibson L6 and I dig it way more than I expected.
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.
