i'm just thinking if you are playing 5hrs a day and you just started then maybe the blood is getting into the pickups? lol Seriously though, are you using an electric tuner or tuning by ear? You may want to pick up an electric tuner to be sure you are in tune. It sounds like the most likely culprit.
