Does Any One Know How to Play Mean Street The Right Way

I ve Seen so many people play Mean street, u know the van halen neck slapping thing. No one ive met plays it as good as he does. I get the basic of it but i have trouble putting it together if you know how to play it well please put the trick up and let me know.
