hi hope someone can help me out iv been looking at a guitar amp on ebay the make is custom sound but i cant find any info about it anywhere iv asked the guy selling it and he does not know anything about it so what i wanted to know is is this amp for electric guitar or is it acoustic amplifier and will it have overdrive on it ect here is the link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=110398303736 i hope u guys can help

It's an electric guitar amp all right. Looks old; I bet it's from the 70's. I was unable to Google any info on Custom Sound amplifiers. No reviews on any boards I checked.

Maybe somebody here knows of them. Being solid state, if it works now, it will probably work forever.

Did you notice the ebay ad was pick up only?
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.

thats the problem im having i cant find any info on the net about it and yes i did see the pickup but thats ok as i dont live far from where it is in in the uk

I've got a ' Kustom amp here , but it's spelt with a 'K'

I would give the Custom Amp on E bay a miss - way too old

i would recommend a ' Line 6 ' = I've got the Line 6 spider and it's great -50 watts

I'm not exactly sure, but i think the ' Custom sound ', is an old 'Hiwatt'

thanx guys for the help being old dont realy worry me as its only for my living room and its better than what i have now im runing my guitar though a interM A60 pubilc address amp sounds so bad lol and Grambo i have had my eye on a line 6 iii 15 watt very nice amps not that bad on price too i would love a old valve head but i dont think my other half loves me that much i can always dream

i was told that it is a guitar amp from the late 70s early 80s anyway i have gone and paid for the amp im just waiting for the seller to give me a time to pick it up and try it out if i find its no good then it was only 50 quid and my daughter can use it to play with im also buying a line 6 iii so i might just use that one and thanxs for all help guys
