Well I guess I will start off with why I chose to play the guitar. Almost everyone on my MoM's side fo the family plays guitar (mostly country gospel type of stuff) and I was always facinated by it. I myself had to join band and play the trombone (as my father did). I played from middle school untill 11th grade but it did nothing for me. So I'm 28 now and I decided if I dont try now I never will so I ordered a guitar and picked up an amp. Then after remembering how to play smoke on the water I was well stuck so here I am.

As for my gear:
Michael Kelly Patriot Decree (blood red) model
Roland 15x amp

Heheh, Smoke on the Water has got to be the most universally known song ever. :)
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.

LOL that it does. However it was much harder on a brass instrument than a guitar lol. Unfortunatley though I'm having to send the guitar back for a warranty exchange. only 2nd day of ownership :( ... But good thing is though it was not due to an unknown defeat but rather a Bstock item was sent instead of a "New" guitar. Glad I noticed some korky things with it. Fine hairline cracks in the finish, Color was too light, 2 of the 4 knobs were almost stripped feeling. Basically one of those guitars that are sold at discount due to problems and not sold at full price. But oh well better to send it back now and get a better quality one.

Argh, I hate that kind of thing. It tries one's patience!
