Loving all these comments on the F chord... my guitar teacher (I found one in town finally but still use the online course because I can redo as much as I want) taught me a chord that I can use in place of F as we work on figuring out how to get it down. I also just bought my first new guitar (I used to use my sister's used guitar from the early 80's and sometimes I play my husband's Martin but it's impossible to get a clean sound (you have to press way too hard) that I love the size and feel of which is really helping.
