It was a long time since I went to a music store and I couldnt believe this place, there were guitars everywhere!
I went in looking for a 12 string because I always wanted one and finger-pick alot. They had mine sitting in a stand just ready for me to find it.
I picked it up and fell in love.
It was slightly used but look brand new and it went for half price (incredible since its an electric too) Just like an old girlfriend. :)
When I passed by the electric section I saw a nice Ibanez that I had to try, 3 hours later I worked the whole room and played with LP's, Prs and the lot, but settled for the American strat as my next guitar; in a few years I said.
Then the wife said "go ahead buy it now but your not getting the LP gold top until we get a bigger house."

They both sound incredible from my marshall amp.
The strat fells so natural and the action on it is incredible, the weight is just perfect. No wonder soo many choose it. It feels just right.
