I'm looking at buying a good practice amp for around $200. I've thought about a Marshall AVT20 or a MG-215RCD. I really don't know much about small amps. I just want something that sounds great (good enough for recording), and one that wont break my pocket book too bad. Does anybody have any advise?
Hey...sh*t happens ;)

There are some great threads / posts on here about this. My ross RG10 is pretty good but I don't mean to sell you on it -
You might want to consider pawn shops / auctions, you might find something underpriced that would suit your needs. My amp was $60 Can. and I paid another 10 to fix an input jack.
