Find an old late 60's to early 70's Princeton and replace the 10" speaker with a 12"... they are absolutely AMAZING little amps. All the twin tone, in a small package... just have to mic the cab to get any power out front in the mains.
I did that to my 71 Princeton and it's my main session amp herenin Nashville. I put a 12" Roland keyboard amp speaker in it, so it would have a clear clean frequency response from fat lows, to peircing highs. I think the amp I tore apart was a bolt 60...
anyway, Great tone is in the ear of the beholder...
