guitar gig

hi guy i downloaded a programe called guitar gig 3 last night but on tyhe web site it says u need the enhanced Rig Kontrol 3 foot pedal is there any other way can use this programen with out the foot pedal say i dont want to pay 400 pound for this can anyone help with this please

I wish I could help you but I don't know enough about Guitar Gig 3. I went to their website but it was temp. down.
Maybe Steve White our in house guitar tech can help more. His forum is under 'ask a guitar tech', worth a try.

I'm sorry Steve or I weren't able to answer your questions about the Guitar Rig 3. I think because it's a Belgium company that not a lot of us American guys are familiar with it, I hadn't heard of it before you posted your question.

Jon Broderick posted a reply about this unit today, another member had questions about it, here was his response:

"I have it, actually.

I like the interface and I like the clean sounds, and the wide array of effects.

I am not so crazy about the distortion sounds.

They may be authentic and I just don't have the ear for it. They just don't hit me in that "ooh I like this" way.

I believe the software has a 30 day trial.

You don't need the hardware to make the software work, assuming you already have a way to plug your guitar into your computer. So try it out yourself and let us know what you think.
