Five years ago yesterday April 8, I became an instructor here at GT. Things have changed a lot since then, I remember when we had no videos. Now we're HD, and my approach to doing lessons has really changed. I hope everyone is enjoying them, and there is much more to come.

I just wanted to thank everyone for wanting to learn to play, and let you know if there's anything I do to help you, just ask me.

I enjoy teaching as much as I enjoy playing guitar, and have found it very rewarding in many ways. I also want to take this opportunity, to tell all of our newbies something. You're never too old to learn, and it's not as hard as you think to learn.

Thanks for clicking, and picking.

I thought I would check some messages before making a few more videos today. My daughter gets in from school in a couple of hours, so I'm going to get back in front of the camera now. Thanks for the well wishes, and keep clicking, and picking.

When I started we were just posting tab, and mp3s, I never expected it to become what it has. Great things are happening, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.

I'm glad to hear from you all, and I hope you have a great weekend.

I appreciate that, and I'm glad you're enjoying the lessons. There's much more to come, so stay tuned, very punny huh? Seriously though I'm working on more rshoots of older lessons, and a whole lot of new stuff too. I've been trying to think of some of the most useful things to post lessons and tutorials about. I have quite a few ideas going now, the reason this stuff is so useful is that it can be played in many positions on the fretboard.

I'll let everyone know when I get it posted, and if there is anything you would like to know just ask. If you have any ideas about lessons you'd like to see, be sure to let me know.

Sixpicker

I am brand new here, joining this week. I lack the ability to add the superlatives that this site deserves. Simply put, it is wonderful. As a beginning guitar player, I find these lessons to be all I could ask for and more. They are thorough, well presented, and the features of the site are so far superior to anything else I have experienced. The lessons are making me feel very confident that even an old man like me can learn to play the guitar.

Thank you ever so much for all your efforts and for bringing this to us for such an affordable price.

Truly
