need some help

Hi iam new at the form and I was wondering about these two subject

What does the right hand do?
What does the left hand do?

I understand that they are important for any guitarist to master.

So my question is do we need to master these before go to the next lesson or just understand what they mean?

I think you're talking about Christopher's tutorial. I haven't been through the whole thing but I watched the last one. I believe this is to get the overall concept of what each hand does. I think you're good to move on to the next lesson as you'll automatically learn what to do with each hand as you progress.

So would it be same to assume that their will be songs for newbies later to practice these methods?

As you move through the fundimental lessons there are plenty of exercises and songs that will help with the hand coordination. After a while your hands will become used to the movements thy are supposed to make. You won't even think about that part of it, you will be on to the next problem :-)
