Stuck in the Rock n' Roll 70's here. Bit I do like a variety, even 50's & 60's stuff.
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.

Blues man myself but I have a deep love for classic rock and hair metal. (the hair metal thing is quite ironic considering that I am currently sporting a hairstyle I like to call 'The Satriani') :)

I listen to it all....really
but I was a child of the 80's..so love the 80's!
I think my heart tends to lean towards classic rock...zz top, lynyrd skynyrd etc...then there are the greats zeppelin...floyd...hendrix
I like metal...new and old
I like country...more newer than older...
I like jazz....more of the fusiony type. Some of the older but more picky selection when it comes to jazz...
I would listen to classical but I wouldnt choose to put it on.
gotta scoot to work....
see ya

Thank you for replying. Ok.

What is your favorite band(s)

I like Cream. Eric Clapton was the lead guitarist.

That's a tough question. I think it might be easier to answer if you were to break it down by style of music. But then again, even then it's pretty tough because your tastes in music change as you go. I'll have to give this one some thought and come back to it.

I was raised in the 60s on Country & Western, and loved every minute of it. Jim Reeves, Eddy Arnold, Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins, etc.

These days, I'm enjoying the music of Eagles, Clapton, Seger, Buffet, B.B. King, and the like.

I've always had an ear for voice and lyrics. If the artist can't sing, I'm generally not interested, and if I can't understand the lyrics, well then, hang it up.

That doesn't say much for Dylan either,eh? There are a number of Dylan songs that I am not quite sure what it is he's saying but they're still great songs.

definately love the blues , but lately getting into alt. country, I also love progressive rock of the 70'S and 80"s ( King Crimson, Yes, Brian Eno...) and celtic folk esp. Richard Thompson, Pentangle, Burt Janch.

Is anyone else really really tired of the radio? I am trying to go deep on a lot of albums to avoid the same songs repeating every 3 hours. Also, digging a lot of stream radio sites that tend to play more obscure songs.

90's Alternative
Classic Rock
Reggae
Acoustic
Funk
Punk
Hardcore
Underground
Anything that sounds good!

This is the reason that I went satellite radio a few years ago and will never go back. You get an excellent mix on Xm-Sirius.

*I am not selling anyone on Xm-Sirius. Just my personal opinion.*

My favorite style of music to listen to is reggae and classic rock.

But my favorite style to play and what got me into guitar in the first place is the blues, which I also now love to listen to as well :)
