The notion of learning to play the guitar came by way of trying to set an example to my pre-teens. Rather than watching the boob tube for an hour or two in the evenings I thought time might be better spent trying to learn to play guitar. I bought a used MOB Ovation and set about the never ending process. This has now become a mission, I enjoy the small victories that many of you have long since forgotten. feeling that one day I will progress to an actual song that I really want to play, fingers that go where and when I want, and most of all a lifetime of growth, playing for fun. That said I don't know any thing about the guitar being given away but I've heard it said you can't have too many friends or guitars. I'd love to start a collection of guitars to add to my wonderful collection of friends.
