I have been playing for just under 1 year and have only had played an accoustic. I would love to expand my playing to an electric, but cannot justify purchasing one yet. This would be a great prize for someone like me as I would most likely not purchase an electric guitar for the next several years.

I am teaching myself to play and I am totally addicted!
