I currently own a 1995 American Standard Tele (I think thats the correct name) thats almost identical to this one except mine has a rosewood fingerboard. I bought it brand new and it may very well be the only thing I own from the last century. I will never part with it. It has a set of the EMG Tele pickups (active) in it and they are everything you need... so nice. It has the old thick finish that they dont do anymore (or so I am told) and I have polished it so much it actually looks better than new.

I need a guitar to go along with it and I always wanted mine to have a maple fingerboard.. so I am entering the contest.
