What songs are you learning right now?

So, got the BTO think going ok pretty much. Quit the Pretty Lady thing for now. (Still something I might return to, though. It was sounding kind of nice.)
I moved on to Bon Jovi - You give Love a Bad Name. Got all the rythmn, but the lead's a little fast for me yet.
So I'm getting cocky, now see?
Then I though "Well, gee, AC/DC's all like D, G & E and stuff; maybe I can work on Back in Black".
THEN I did a walk thru of the intro's and outros' and solos, etc, etc, etc...........
Then I LOL'd at me and clicked up Rock Primer 2 :D
Sometimes Earth comes crashing right up at my feet!

Currently working on The Boys Are Back In Town by Thin Lizzy (Still not quite up to the Angus yet! :D) Man, am I old school: I found tabs for it, but still won't use them, I'm working it out from a recording. ... Although I confess, Guitar & Drum Trainer is a toy I never had in the old days.

Right now im working on "The world I know" by Collective Soul. I'm still a little rough on chord changes, but the song is fairly simple so its helping me along a bit.

Nice song. On my next-to-do list is "Heaven Let your Light Shine Down" by them. :)

Thanks to what I have learned here on GT I have progressed from Jingle Bells to playing a fairly good rendition of The Star Spangled Banner.
Still have some minor issues with pull ons, pull offs and vibrato but each day sees a little improvement.
FYI, Best Guitar Site Going in MHO :D

Christmas is right around the corner so there is nothing wrong with knowing Jingle Bells! :)

let's see.....
Sweet Hour of Prayer - a hymn that'll teach you the C maj scale, very easy.
Homebound - Ted Nugent. Very repetitious but easy to back up Ted's lead. Loosens up the fingers.
The rthym portion of I Love Rock and Roll - Joan Jett. Helped me learn muting and a little bending with some nice power chords.
The lead solo from Detroit Rock City - KISS. Easy slides, easy to learn the patterns, and the faster you go the better it sounds, but still sounds good at slower paces too. One little hammer-on to start me on those.
Currently working on:
Love Hurts - Nazareth. Teaching me picking technique with some fast chord changing.
Mississippi Queen - Mountain. Lotsa tremolo's and a few slides. Moves faster than the other songs so it's working my speed up.
Looking for the score for Rock Star - Nickleback. Have no idea how hard/easy it will be, but it sounds like it would give me good practice singing with my playing.

Search Results on Ultimate Guitar. I use Guitar Player, as I can hear and understand it much better, seeing it in action.
As for me, "Iron Man," he Naruto Rising Spirits themeto, "Blackbird" by Alterbridge and some other things I'll tinker with for whatever reason -- Like a Stone, Halo 2 OP, something I completely made up/crafted from other sources of note.

Foo Fighters-Stranger Things Have Happened.
Simple picking and some chords, but easy to pick up.

actually learned to pick out amazing grace (only two days for the simple version I learned) and it helped put that crazy fretboard in perspective, though I'll have to find MANY more songs before I can say I know it well. it dose help to be able to play a song you can relate to, seems to hellp with rhythm and such.
the real nice part is when I found I could pop in an extra note in there in a spot or and make the whole thing flow a little better, that was the really fun part, as it's as close to improv as I get right now.

The Munster theme (hehehe), catchy little tune and lot of finger work to get it to sound just right. Also brings back childhood memories... luved them Munsters, reminded me of my own family :)

Tie Your Mother Down - Queen Yeah!!!
...so ever since then, I always hang on to the buckle.
