I am playing a Squier Strat and I am looking for a decent practice amp and have heard some good things about the Line 6 Spider III 15W. Have any of you played through this amp or heard about it? Thanks.

I have one of the spider III 15 watt amps and it is actually a good little practice amp. It has modeling effects for metal, crunch, insane, and clean. It sounds pretty decent and is a good value for the money. I also have the 75 watt version which has a lot more options for modeling effects. For the money it is a great amp. I thought I waould use mine more, but since I got the 75 watt it has been just sitting..I would be willing to give you a good deal on it if you are interested. It is a lot better than the squire stuff I have seen.

I bought one of these for my son. He played it every time we went to GC, mainly for the effects. He became fixated on this, so I got for him this Christmas. He plays more, so it was worth the investment for that alone. :D
The Clean is the best in my opinion, with crunch sounding pretty good as well. It's loud for a small amp and has good sound. Can't go wrong with it for $100.
